Recent flooding has been a major concern for our community. There are many contributing factors to this problem and all must be evaluated as to what extent each plays in the flooding issue. A new early warning system recently was discussed and approved for purchase. This system will give advanced warning in real time to the residents along the river. I will continue to support the work that is in progress and will use any means available to help reduce flooding.
